Years ago I got married to this nice fellow with whom I shared a terrible curse. We couldn’t get rid of books. We accumulated them and got more and more books and there was no place to put them.I should have known though. When I visited his parents house before even thinking of marriage, I noticed that they had the same problem. There wer piles and piles of books everywhere: on the staircase, in the bathroom, in the living room, on top of every sinlge piece of furniture, outside on the porch, on top of the computer, everywhere!
I guess that is what they call “seeing the writting on the wall” but I, maybe conciously, simplely ignored it.
After a few years of marriage I can see how the books are taking over my house and my space, and there is nothing I can or want to do about it. I love my books and I love his books too.
One good day we found these great unfinished bookcases at a flea market and we took them home. But time passed by and we never got around to work on them. Now I finally had the time and a good place to do so and we finished them. They look great!!
So I took the stacks of books that are piled all over the place and started to put them on the shleves. Then I noticed that there are tons of books that I have never read, and isn’t that a shame?
So here I go. I’ll pick each single book I have and read it. One by one. Then I will comment on my findings and I will be pleased to read whatever anyone has to say about them.
I wish myself Good luck!
